Why regular check-ups matter
Most dental problems, like cavities and gum disease, don't hurt in the early stages. By the time a tooth aches, the problem is usually bigger and the treatment longer.
A check-up every six months lets us spot these problems early, when a small filling or a cleaning is enough.
What happens at your visit
- We ask about any pain, sensitivity or concerns you have.
- We examine every tooth, your gums, bite and the soft tissues of the mouth.
- If needed, we take an X-ray to see between teeth and below the gum line.
- We explain what we found in simple words and discuss your options and the cost before any treatment.
Who should come in
Anyone who hasn't seen a dentist in the last six months, or has tooth pain, bleeding gums, bad breath, sensitivity to hot or cold, or a broken tooth or filling.
