When should a child first see a dentist
Around their first birthday, or when the first teeth appear. Early visits are short and gentle, and help children get used to the dentist before any problem appears.
Why baby teeth matter
Milk teeth help children chew, speak clearly and hold space for the adult teeth. Decay in milk teeth can cause pain and infection, so they need care too.
